About Us

We met in high school in Buenos Aires. Same city, same hallways, same obsession with how things were made.

We went in different directions. Tomas went into architecture. Lucas went into business. 

Then we both ended up in New York.

We weren't trying to start a furniture company. We were trying to solve the same problem everyone here eventually hits: you want a place that feels like yours. The good stuff is too expensive. The affordable stuff isn't built to last. You want nice things that can grow and move with you without breaking the bank. 

So Tomas drew something. We had it made. Someone saw it and asked where to get one.

That's where Botto NYC began.

What we make

One object. A steel chassis built to be reconfigured — not replaced. Every unit is hand-finished and signed by the person who built it. We make one thing because making one thing well is harder than it looks.

What we believe

Furniture should survive your next move. It should also grow with you. 

We're two people in Brooklyn. We're not a brand exercise. We're a practice.
